Speed TV on Comcast HD now

I just noticed a ig update on the HD channels and noticed I get Speed on HD. It's about time we see some MotoGP in HD!

Great, right as I ax that channel too.... I guess I can just reinstate it when the GP season starts next year. Thanks for the heads up though!

The only thing "HD" on speed is the little 'SPEED' logo in the upper right of your picture.
Oh, and nascar.

Apparently, Dorna broadcasts in 16:9 but it is still an SD image. They will be going to full HD in 2010.

Native 16:9 SD is going to be way better than stretched and blurry 4:3 SD that is out now.

+1 It wasn't HD last season, but the native aspect ratio from SpeedTV HD is quite nice.

I have AT&T U-Verse, and it's SD channels are better then Comcast's, HD channels.

I think I got Speed HD about a month ago, but haven't watched anything on it yet since there is no MotoGP on. Their HD channels are the dawgs ballz though.

As soon as U-verse is available here in my area of Santa Rosa it's "see ya sucker" to POS Comcast.

As for HD...I'm one of the boneheads who bought an HD DVD player just before the format went belly up.

The 12 or so HD DVD's I have look awesome, however, and the player was only $150 with all those DVD's and it does a passable HD upconversion as a standard player; not as good as my 3 year old Denon upconverting DVD player, but not bad.

Have an extra copy of Full Metal Jacket unopened if anyone out there wants to trade another HD DVD for it.

Great movie that one.

Speed has been HD on DirectTV all year. MotoGP has been SD, but the F1 races in HD look incredible - especially the night race in Shanghai. Shame they don't actually do much racing tho .....
But the broadcast quality is a sign of what we'll be geting in motoGP - can't wait!!!

F*#k Comcast! Directv had HD for SPEED months ago, all year to be exact^^^!!! And hate to burst your bubble but motogp won't be in HD. Only thing on SPEED that's HD is "RedNeck" Nascar Pinks, etc. Hmm... OK F1 too...

Crap. Why can't all broadcasts be in HD?

And NASCAR is such a pathetic joke.
