Good on ya! Hadn’t notice how nice looking the RS is until your photo, you’ll enjoy a riding pause just to admire your bike.

Congrats. I love the new RS. I won't deny the new one has my eye. Miss having a boxer. I had an 1150RS and it was a good bike that took me lots of great places. Hope this one does the same for you.

That would be nice. Did you get to ride one pre-purchase? How long until you can ride again?

I knew from the start of the test ride I was gonna buy my R. One of these days I should demo a Showerhead 1200, and Shifthead 1250. As long as I can still be satisfied with what I got for a bit longer.

Hereís where Iím a little crazy. I didnít have a chance to test ride it but I compared the seating position to my current R and versus my VFR to compare. I also know that I love the engine and shaft so I pulled the trigger, with a lot pictures and some faith. I had to follow my gut, mainly because it was the best price with low miles and luggage. Honestly, I simply didnít want to lose the deal but am quite sure Iím going to love it.

When I was really looking, there werenít any dealers that had one in stock to test ride. Concord has one now but the check is on the way so itís basically done.

Call me crazy or a little adventurous, youíd be right either way!

I like the blue and white paint scheme.
This bike was at top of my list a couple of years ago but after riding it I changed my mind. Its a great bike but it didn't fit with what I was looking for at the time.

You will not be disappointed in this decision. When I was looking for a new bike (back in late 2015), The RS was not even on my radar (I was not a air cooled Boxer fan). I went into the Triumph dealer in Milpitas (Cal Moto) to test ride a Tiger 800. They had a RS sitting out front and I thought "well since I am here, I might as well take it around the block". Well after one turn and one twist of the throttle, I was hooked.

Congratulations! Superb motors, and it has such a sophisticated electronics package so just remember that if you donít like the dash, the cockpit, instrument panel or whatever you wanna call it, you have 3 options....

Very cool bike, OP!

They've really narrowed and raised the cylinder profile on that bike, it looks like you can get twice the lean angle than the old Boxster motorcycles!
