My 6 mile drive was fruitful.
Got a debit card with 8 days of payment.
Turns out my MD office just mailed the necessary form last week. Bastards had the form on the 5th and fee’d me $25. For the privilege. Should be good by Wed. I hope

I wonder if all the fire victims of santa rosa will claim sdi or is there another special emergency fund for disasters?

Day 49 of the Bad Back Chronicles.
Was on my feet way too much yesterday. Kind of sore this morning.
But I got the SDI thing all sorted out. Not spending my savings.
First purchase on the Debit card was a case of wine at Madrone Estates. Putting that money back into the fire zone economy.

What have you found out about the Locals? You weren't affected directly with the fire?

No thankfully i was not effected by the fire, i was chauffeured around coffey park yesterday.

Wow

Its like a bomb went off, recognizing where your friends lived and not recognizing it was soooooooo sad.

Its rubble, still shocked to see so much destruction, i hope families rebuild 100% its a really depressing site to see.

So i keep getting sdi letter saying they got my 2x forms - my application and my Dr's note/letter to confirm. Then last week another to compute my wages so hopefully my debit card is mailed soon.

My gf says our disability office makes you line up to one telephone, and thats all you can do.

Cant talk to a rep there only a person who tells you to use "that phone" with others in line

I get a bone density scan on my lumbar/hip tomorrow!

If good, back to work Jan 5.
If bad, 6 more months of disability & early retirement.

Id rather go back to work. For 5 more years till full retirement.

OTOH retiring & moving to Mexico wouldn't be all bad...
Just got back from 5 days in Cabo, I'd deal with it...

Doing some PT recommended exercises & gentle yoga at home.

Doc just called with a referral to another MD. I have osteoporosis in my back. Fuckety Fuck!

We all have some measure of degradation. The report from my neck injury talked about osteoporosis and arthritis and I was in my 30s. He said "that's normal", a lot of CYA by the docs so they note everything to the nth detail.

Hope your recovery continues smoothly.

How’s the PT coming along? Maybe sport bikes are in your future!

Thanks. Doc says moderate to severe. More testing this week to determine treatment. Also have another MRI this week.

Bending over a tank didn't work 3 years ago. Don't think its going to work now..

PT is good. Still have a localized pain that comes & goes.
