1989 Honda GB500tt

Price: Looking for best offer

*Please message me your offers/questions/concerns*

For sale is a 1989 Honda GB500. If you are not familiar with this bike, it would be in your best interest to research it beforehand. Very hard to find, especially in this condition, garage kept, and starts up right away. I am the second owner and can say with 100% honesty that this bike has been well maintained for its entire life. She has less than 8000 miles on her and recently (about 2-300 miles ago) had the oil changed. The only real blemish is the seat cowl cover has two small breaks at each end of it (which is very common), however, I do have a new old stock replacement which will come along with the motorcycle (at least a $350value if you can find one). The current one holds strong and I would recommend leaving it on. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. No tire kickers, or lowballers. Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours.

I do have the title, which is clean.

I remember when those came out. A friend in HS had one. He was a little ahead of his time. We all thought Ninjas, Hurricanes and Katanas were the stuff. if your price is the going rate (I have no idea), I think he would be laughing today. S

What's the seat height on the bike? Is it okay for a beginners bike?

I'm about 5'9 and I can touch the ground with both of my feet comfortably. Seat height is about 35 inches. Easy bike to ride--handles well, enough power to be comfortable on the freeway, but not too much to knock you on your back. Single cylinder, gets good gas mileage, easier to work on (fewer cylinders= less problems. Single carb= less problems).

...guy at work just bought one of these. It is a very user friendly bike. Great second bike, or a tenth bike.

A first bike you need to be able to throw away. These are too nice for that. Hella easy to ride tho.
