Right on! They're my favorite resource. I can sit and look at them for hours on end and never get bored. Most of my trips to cool new places have started with a beverage in my hand and a map in my lap. I dropped lots of place names in this report, and I bet once you have it in your hand you can follow along. Start at Benton Hot Springs and head east on HWY 6

FWIW; If you had continued west from Hot Creek and ridden over Eagle Pass (if that was your plan), you probably would have been okay. It's a bit rough but not harder than what y'all report about having ridden already.

I'm sure we would've been fine on Eagle Pass, but we were heading east and we were concerned about fuel. I want to go out there again and stage out of the van and do some exploring on the 610's. There's just so much...

Thanks WC! I rode through Nevada last summer on my circumnavigation of the USA, and it was one of the most interesting places I've ever been - hot springs included I agree with the last frontier / desolate comment. Cannot wait to get back...
