Well that was a battle.... just to make a lap!

The results had Tomac on top for this first win of the year and the points lead staying intense. Eli has the red plate now, but it is close.
Marvin snagging second at the end and Roczen handing on to the podium shows cream rises to the top even in the mud.

Bogle and Reedy taking top fives is crazy cool IMO. Webb fought like a cat in the bathtub His effort leaves him still in the hunt.

Cinciarulo has a little gap in the 250W and they have some time off now. Time for the East boys to take their shot.

American Motorcyclist Association statement on San Diego Supercross round

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- The American Motorcyclist Association is coordinating with AMA Supercross Championship promoter Feld Entertainment to identify riders and equipment that may have been affected by track conditions at the Feb. 2 event at PETCO Park in San Diego.

"The well-being of our members is a top priority of the AMA," said AMA Chief Operations Officer Jeff Massey. "AMA staff is monitoring the situation and working directly with Feld Entertainment as its representatives contact individual riders to assess the extent of the impact."

250 East boys!
450 tight ass battle.

Doesn’t get much better!

FELD stepped up on the issue with track treatment.
5K to each privateer is really cool. The commitment to making sure future wet track amendments is solid.

Roczen, Webb, Money Marvin, and Tomac all within 2pts after 6 rounds!

That 250 LCQ, roller derby.

Tomac came clean on the Whiskey Throttle Show and admitted he injured his back and was off the bike before the season. He says he is 100% now, but a bit behind on bike set up.

If you havent watched the show, its is extremely entertaining. Their interviews with Jeff Emig and Rick Johnson were the best.

What's up with Tomacs starts ??? He's going to have to improve in that area if he wants to stay on top.

It amazes me the he can't seem to figure it out. Hell, even I could beat the guy to the first turn of a SX race! I raced mx for years and always got good starts. It's not rocket science...just takes practice, proper bike set up, mental focus and confidence (which I suspect to be his problem).

It's not hard. Just pick 1-5 place and a wildcard and get points. If you score high enough points for the round you win free stuff. At the end of the season, the one with the highest points gets a tricked out ktm 450 as 1st place and a tricked out 250 for second.

Good times! I worked the track for one years ago. Great show and very close physical racing.

I just got back from a trail work day at Cow Mtn, stopped by the stores for supplies, and ready to settle in on the couch for the races.

Cooper Webb was smoking fast in qualifying leading everyone at 50.012 and my boy Justin Hill 2nd with a 50.203. Tomac in 7th with 50.6. I know you cant put too much into qualifying once the gate drops, but Webb certainly has the speed to be up front with a good start. Oh, and Zach is BACK qualifying 4th with a 50.238.

Here is to hoping one of the Star Racing Yamaha or TLD KTM riders can ride with and beat Forkner. He dominated qualifying.

1 hr to the show.
