speaking of this post , and the "recent purchase" thread. Was it here, in the PW, that some poster said "if that's not a showoff thread I don't know what is" ... was it? (I think that poster was EJ. Was she/or not a PW, BTW? Quite some time ago)

anyway, just wondering about that thing . And I haven't looked at the thread above in forever. Would probably make me buy a gpro anyway

morning, :coffee it's :heavy ungent

Last month I had a package spend a week bouncing back in forth to four little towns in Wyoming. The online "Ask FedEx" is useless! After calling and actually getting through to a "person" to complain "it" showed up five days later.

Current package left Kansas City, Ks, last Friday - 4/9, and made it 23 miles to Olathe, Ks. that same evening. It sat there until last night, Weds - 4/14, and is now 200 miles southwest in a little town called Wellington, Ks.

Double
FEDEX delivery still SUCKS!
Have they resorted to using Greyhound buses to ship packages?

Since leaving Kansas City, Ks on 4/9, it's been to:
Olathe, Ks.
then Wellington, Ks.
then Vaughn Nm.
then Navajo Nation, Az.
then Barstow, Ca.
then Stockton, Ca.
then spent a day at Sacramento location #1.
then another day at a different Sacramento location.

Last update says "it" departed the Sacramento, Fedex SmartPost location on Sunday on 4/18, at 11:41 PM. Delivery scheduled for Wednesday, 4/21/21 before 7PM.

This morning it says: "In Transit", but to where? LODI ???
And the delivery date got changed to Thursday, 4/22/21.

You should learn the spell that was used in one episode of Justice League where the world splits into two realities. One where anyone under 18 disappears and one where anyone over 18 disappears.

I'd like to alter that and live in the world where under... let's say anyone under 25 disappears.

No bueno. I have a kid under 25. Meh, guess I can find my own reality to share with my kids. Carry on.

Got to spend the day at lucille packard with my 3 year old

nothing serious, just stressful for mom & dad (scheduled sedation for a therapy protocol, no injury surprises)

Fair enough. I should have known that. Just making sure.

It's not like I don't do the same of thinking into the keyboard.

I don't know what to do after work...it's sunny until late, but COVID is still on, and it's quite cool and windy out.

Find a big window. Look out of it while enjoying a nice, hot mug of tea or the beverage of your choice.
