Your Future: Brain Tumor

Well, thanks to your Mobile Phone and the internet of things that will soon be everywhere, the levels of radiation that is being produced will only increase. The correlation between cell phone radiation exposure and brain tumors has been swept under the rug by the usual "corporate studies and experts" but the data continues to come in confirming the link.

https://www.theguardian.com/technolo...venient-truths

I don't use my cell that much, but I always have it on me when I leave the house, literally on my body, but I don't use it for anything but as a phone. I also don't have any "internet of things" besides my Fire Stick. But wifi is connected to all my devices and TV's etc. So who knows..............but now I know 102 ways to kill a man.

I've used only bluetooth and wired headphones for well over a decade now, I rarely hold my phone up to my head.

I'm assuming that bluetooth headphones have significantly lower levels than phones.

I'm not a music addict, so I'm not going to have earpieces around my neck or in my ears 24/7 like some people. So I only use Bluetooth for longer calls. I'm not going to dig out the headphones just for a short or random unexpected call.

I never hold the phone to my ear, I use headphones. I had a co-worker who used her phone up to her ear so much that it was blistering hot... at that point I decided that having the phone up to my head was *possibly* not a good idea...

I’m old enough to die from something else before a brain tumor.

I am Neuroscientist by day so I can say with some confidence... No! On the other hand the mm wave scanners at the airport... let’s just say I opt for the pat down or find a line with a traditional metal detector.

In any case I don't do many long phone calls and usually have a wired headset when I do. And it seems like there's more texting than voice calls these days.

I work in an ER and feel the same. I get enough exposure to radiation every shift I work that I don't want to get zapped any more than that. And I hate the TSA and their invasive shit so I make them earn it and pat me down.

I have a letter somewhere on my PC, singed by all the big wigs at UCSF Cancer center to Obama expressing major concerns regarding these machines. I’ll have to see if I can dig that up. I would serious try to avoid it by opting out if you fly regularly. I think the main issue is that so much energy in such a small penetration depth. (Skin cancer, testicular cancer, and etc). I could have this part wrong so don’t hold me to that.

Here it is. FYI - I know famous scientists aren’t front page news; however, there aren’t many scientists more famous than John Sedat.

I know a woman dealing with cancer who every time she's recovering from chemo she's not allowed to use a cell phone or a tablet. There must be a strong belief that something is being emitted that isn't good for you.

Get TSA Pre or Global Entry so you don't have to go through the body scanner. Haven't been in one of those things in three years, since having Pre.
