The 90s Were Cooler

Listen up kids

This is a motocross-centric production, but it's true.

I still wear a kidney belt. I don't know why. In fact, I have a like new one I'll give to one of you skinny kids just so you can experience it.

I never had a helmet with a fin. I think those were factory only.

Yes I still have a can of Blendzall Gold label. May put it in the leaf blower just for the aroma.

Dissing the 60's fo sho, , ,

Anybody remember the mid 60's what I call a "croaker" pipe?

Only the first section of a expansion chamber, the short megaphone, about 8 inches across, most flattened into an oval, dumping out under the frame.
Sounded like a bull frog, with one long burp. Made torque only, wouldn't/couldn't rev out.
First one I saw/heard a Greeves, Cambell's ranch scrambles.

Haha they had the fruitiest gear in the 90's. My dad had a early 90's KX125 that I learned to ride dirt on and all his gear were those fruity ass colors. Haha even my DR650 the 97 model when it was stock came with the fruity pebbles colors. I just rode the Coyote Creek Enduro and the smokers are still alive and kickin. Can smell em and hear em all over the place.

My Dad's KX125, I remember it was terrifying to ride because you had to flog it and it was fast but it was tough climbing hills with it you'd have to downshift and the brakes sucked it was terrifying going down hills with it haha. I bet I can ride the piss out of it now.

There's a sequel to that video

Representative styles of the 90s

I had those AXO boots, in blue, which I used on dual sport rides on my red and white XT600.

See those Finland flags on the pants? That meant the gear was made by Sinisalo and it was tough.
