The bad news, as of this morning it has been postponed. The good news, not canceled yet... The wife and I just canceled our hotel for April..... Let us keep our fingers crossed that it still happens this year. Austinis an amazing track and an amazing town.

Governor of Texas lifted all Covid restrictions (including the mask mandate) and reopen everything at full capacity. Wonder if that will tempt Dorna to put the GP back on the calendar...

even despite plummeting daily new case counts, going WFO on the reopening is not something that will instill in Dorna soothing confidence that regime change here is steadily unwinding the utter shitshow that our mismanagement of the pandemic has resulted in. not repaving the track doesn't help. and argentina burning down really doesn't help. you want them to come all the way over to the western hemisphere just for one race at a so-so track in shitty ass texas? the brisket ain't that good, especially not compared to prosciutto or jamon iberico.
