Also since you have a L3 charger remember that most Walmarts have those EVGO L3 chargers. I had heard a while back Energica was going to try and work something out where you could use the Tesla Superchargers, but I guess that never came to be. That would be sweet because you see them popping up everywhere. I rented a M3 for my birthday and man it was so crowded at the Superchargers.

Yeah it almost killed me when it first happened to me on my fxs but it happened at about 70% I went to over take from like 70 and twisted thr throttle and leaned and nothing happened with the throttle. Iíve been bitter about that since. You donít notice it as much in the city and since itís was a sumo that was kinda okay but I noticed power and torque getting cut around 40-50% even at lower speeds and i just remember being mad at the numbers feeling like they were a lie.

M3 = Model 3

As in Tesla Model 3

It was a dual motor long range one. I was able to drive Mines and Hamilton with it and sit in traffic and let it drive =P

I don't know where you got that price from on their website they start around $20k. I've heard you can get them for as low as $17k for older model new old stock models too.

Telsa fanbois who insist on calling their Model 3's "M3's" crack me up.

There is never a line at that charger. I used to use it quite a bit when I had construction in my driveway. Only maxes out at 33kW though.

Congratulations on the bike! I want one pretty badly now..

~25k. I put a ton of miles on it the first few years, cracked it in half on a taxicab in downtown SF, slowly rebuilt it, and now it's pretty much a track bike. There is a bit of a noise from the transmission in 2nd gear -- normally I wouldn't be too worried about it, but acquiring parts from a dead company bought by a now-dead arm of another company is a bit of a losing proposition. Heck, even SMRE got bought recently. Other than that I haven't had that many issues. The battery controlling the clock(!) ran out so there's an error on the dash, but that's about it.

It's a shame, I really like the transmission. Haha the arguments about simplicity of maintenance are certainly extra-relevant in my case, but there really is nothing like the torque of an electric motor multiplied through a gear ratio on demand. (See here for a pretty good retelling of my thoughts on it)

Anyway, the Eva looks super promising, but . . . . Italian electronics?
