My body has never been so sore. My second lap was faster than my first by 25 minutes. The downhill cluster and canyon cluster weren't there the second time around and I flowed much better. My trips to Baja these past two years came in handy as the course was very Baja-esque. I had a great time and plan on racing again next year. Aiming for 7th place next year
Fuck yeah, good job.

Congrats on the excellent results and the trophy!

Did you pit between laps? If so, did you have a pit crew set up?

I came in after my second lap to grab a gallon of gas and some sport chews. I wasnít sure I could make the 75 miles on one tank and didnít want to DNF. Probably added 5 minutes to my 3rd lap otherwise it would have been my fastest.

My shoulders/back are still sore! Heading to the gym for some cardio to get ready for this weekendís enduro.

No I didn't pit. I only did two laps though. I wasn't planning on pitting regardless. I knew I'd have enough gas and was carefully rationing my water. I'm slow enough that I can't afford to waste time pitting

I'm 138 on Sunday. Wave when you pass by me! I'll be the slow guy on the 200xcw! There are a bunch of riding on Sunday. Anytwowilldo, Rebekahlynn, saltwater, and others. Some on Saturday too. Should be a fun weekend!

We are setting up our pit Saturday afternoon to try and get a decent spot for Sunday. We should have a couple of KLIM flags flying. Barfers are welcome to stop by for a beverage and bench racing!

Congrats on the finish! The course was a little shorter than previous years but it seemed a little harder as well. The hard splits were tough with the the loose rocky hill climbs!

I really enjoyed the endurocross sections that took you back on to C street. I hope they do that again next year. It was also really cool to see the adventure bikes out there!

I got 3 laps in and placed higher than previous years so I was happy with my effort. Got to get ready for the fools gold this weekend. Looks like itís going to be another 75 miles this weekend.

I definitely had fun. I also had a pretty decent race, got 6th in Amateur 30+.

I would highly encourage anyone who rides dirt to come give it a try sometime. Even if you aren't really interested in racing, or don't consider yourself a 'racer', just you vs the course is a really great challenge. You can see by the pages upon pages of DNFs in the Saturday and Sunday results, that just finishing the race is an accomplishment. Plus it's just a really cool event, to see hundreds and hundreds of dirt bikers completely take over a historic mining town is a sight to behold.
