Continental divide dual sport ride

One of my friends is riding from Canada to Mexico in August, or so he says.

on my list of things to do ... my thought is this would be more fun than the Trans America Trail ... think it's a big bicyclist thing to do ... may even have been the push-bike guy's route first?

I think the push-bike guys may have done it first. Good documentary on Netflix and Amazon about the annual race. Ride the Divide

Wow so expensive O_o' I think I spend about $5k on my TAT trip but I did way more. But yeah that's me riding solo. I remember passing the continental divide in like Texas when I was on my way to the TAT.

The good thing about riding the continental divide is that you don't change time zones. One thing I didn't like about the TAT is the more I rode the more the time changed.

Supposedly it is big bike friendly also like the TAT
