You actually expected me to scroll that far up the page and read the original question? I would've thought you knew me better than that by now…

When I was in the military, I bought a new 1978 Z-28. I loved that car, and to this day it's the only car that I have purchased brand new. ❤️❤️❤️

LOVE the 2nd Gen F-body up to ‘73. After that, the front ends went off the deep end. An early gen split bumper is one of my dream cars.

Well, I reckon that makes a certain point, but me, I don't trust a performance build until I see it perform for real. You can stick a big dick motor in your custom build, but if you shatter your rear axle every time you floor it, it still ain't shit.

A car that looks like sex, you just know it looks good, you don't have to test that, it rolls up and you can take it at face value.

That was an Irish Car, Mate. Didin't run for shit, but they did look good. European cars had a lot of nice looking BMW and Italian models in the 80's.

Granted he as from Ireland, but this quote is from Wikipedia.
"John DeLorean founded the DeLorean Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan on October 24, 1975"

It is bloody Irish, mate, I suppose British if you want to nitpick, but all the same.

Quote:
"DMC eventually built the DeLorean in a factory in Dunmurry, County Antrim, in Northern Ireland."
I suppose the argument could be made that it was an Irish/Colombian conglomerate...

Yeah, but for having struts and a live axle, they handled pretty well, and the 5.7 TPI engines ran well. The manual trans made them a hoot to drive!
