This made me chuckle - it was rather amusing going in for my last surgery and having to explain the nasty road rash on one knee, and the prolific bruises and scrapes on both legs He just laughed and rolled his eyes with a "are you kidding me?"

A few of my coworkers asked (half jokingly) if I am in an abusive relationship, after seeing my bruises from this weekend. I said yes, with my dirt bike

I suspect these guys see alot of people who come back multiple times. I'm hoping to not be that guy, but man do I want to go ride my dirt bike even knowing that means crashing. I was trying to negotiate with the doctor and he was just laughing at me. "Ok, so how about the hot tub if i keep the collar bone above the water level? Give me something doc!!"

There was some carnage up there this trip, more than normal for sure! Glad you were just battered and not broken!

Better to not aggravate the injury. You'll be back to hot tubbin and riding soon enough. lol

Had my 6wk post op appointment this morning. All looking good! The doctor showed me the lines that still show there is some healing to do, but he cleared me for all activities and was pleased that I hadn't re-injured myself yet. All they said was to not lift too much and to stop if I'm hurting myself. MTB is getting dusted off today and I'll be in the hot tub enjoying a beverage soon as the sun goes down and the stars come out. WOOT!

Also the numbness zone seems to be shrinking somewhat. Still a large area but seems like the nerves are reconnecting to the network.

Really appreciate all the support in this forum. BARF is the best. You guys rock.

Good news!! Congrats on the progress.

I'm anxiously looking forward to my 6wk on monday. Hoping that they clear me for activity as well... I'm getting super paranoid about hurting myself and not having my weight restrictions lifted as i'm left handed and reflexes are taking over... But i have no pain and PT is going well so hopefully its just unwarrented paranoia.

I totally get the paranoia. My sister flew in this week to help my mom with fire stuff and I instinctively just grabbed her suitcase to bring it in to the house. I think she packed lead bricks in the dang thing and I thought I felt something pop in my left shoulder, but it was probably just weak muscles more than anything.

Again thanks all for the support, and Leo we definitely need to get team 2t out for a ride asap. Anytwowilldo and I were discussing this yesterday. My poor cr hasn't been started since Moab 2016. Pitiful...
