Versys 1000 Test Ride!

Hi guys!

I had the opportunity to test this Touring Bike at dealership where I work: Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE.

I was really surprised to see how much this bike has a "Sport" soul, good for Touring but to have fun instead

I'd say it might be the catylitic converter making all the heat. My BMW had that problem....not any more.
Nice job, mad
Ciao

It sure comes with a bunch of farkles that aren’t on the standard....

Everybody looks comfy on a Versys…

I like posting this pic because I've stayed in the hotel in the background.

I would love one of those but my long distance primarily consists of a 60mi r/t to work and back and seems a little wide to go sliding through traffic but may consider one when my '15 Versys 650 needs an upgrade. I love the orange!

I've got over 40K miles on my Versys 1000, and over 100K combined on my two 650's. The 1000 is a nice bike, and very comfy. Great for mile munching, and two up, and it can be made to get down a twisty road pretty quickly - especially after upgrading the suspension. You can find NOS 1000's without all the farkles that come on the new SE for much less money. If you want all the farkles, the new one is still a pretty good deal compared to its competitors.
