That's my loop. Fun as hell as long as traffic is on your side.

I ripped through hwy36 last summer on the last leg of a 3,400 mile tour and have been wanting to do this 3 day to spend more time in the area.

We'll be on sportbikes (s1000rr and a fz1) so pavement only.

Get gas when you see a pump.

Don't miss the Leggett to Fort Bragg portion of Hwy One. I usually figure out a way to ride it each way(North to South, South to North) when I'm in the neighborhood.

Gas, west to east on 36 between 101 and I-5:
Hydesville (last stop for super unleaded), Swain's flat (before Bridgeville) regular, Dinsmore (last gas now on 36 before Redbluff) regular.
There used to be gas in Platina but I heard recently it closed.
So....top off at Murrish Market in Hydesville and then again in Dinsmore if you have less than a 140 MI range.

Wildwood Store, Rest in Peace. Platina is a mystery.

BTW, I rarely see any hides in Hydesville.

I usually ride to 3, head north into Hayfork for fuel then come back south on 3 or Wildwood and continue on 36. Makes it so you need about a 70 mile range.

Yes, another good option.
Hydesville to Hayfork :80 mi
Hayfork to Redbluff via Wildwood rd: 75 mi.

For bonus points, any markets have excellent steaks? I was in Eureka last month and the CoOp there had bomber local beef, looking forward to some campfire steaks.

That's it?! Just "Ride was awesome."? Not even an exclamation point?

Details, man! Details!

At least one pic of campfire steak would be nice.

Since there will never be French toast at the Wildwood Store, ever again.
