SOLD * 2016 Ducati Multistrada S Touring. Last price drop, it is a bargain

Sold on FB Market Place.

Super price time. My new BMW has come in at a different dealer than my local dealer. The bike I want but he said the trade-in will be between $10,500 and $11,000. If you want it I will take $11,000 B/O this week and throw in 2 extra shields a short one and large Cal Scientific. Plus a Ducati GPS mount. If not sold on Barf will a train-in. Someone on Barf must want a deal.

2016 Ducati Multistrada S Touring. 1200 DVT engine.

Extended Warranty to Aug 30, 2022! Location Stockton CA. Text questions to 209 598 1757

Selling a bike that has put a smile on my face every time I ride it. Original owner. 15,045 miles will change as I am still riding. Excellent condition but it is time for me to buy a new bike. Pictures show a radar detector that is not included. GPS mount and GPS shown in pictures. If you are interested in the GPS mount and Garmin ZUMO 660 I may sell it as an option. 2,000 miles on the rear tire and 1,000 miles on the front tire. New battery 2-23-2020.

It comes with a Jrock touring shield and a short summer shield.

The S models include ABS and electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension, called Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES). The S Touring model comes with heated grips, hard luggage, cruise control, and a center stand.

The bike has four engine power modes, Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro. Riders can change power modes with the motorcycle underway by using the turn-signal cancel button. Sport and Touring modes provide the full 150 bhp with the Touring mode providing a softer throttle response. Urban and Enduro reduce horsepower to 100 bhp and provide different levels of ABS and traction control accordingly. Riders also have the option of customizing any of these modes by changing the horsepower, throttle response, ABS and traction control levels using menu items inside the instrument cluster.

On the S-model Multistradas, with electronic suspension, preload and damping rates change with each of the engine power modes. Riders can also choose between four different base-settings based on having a passenger or luggage. Just like with the engine performance modes, riders can customize each of these settings using the menu's inside the instrument cluster.

The 2016 Ducati Multistrada 1200 was redesigned with new fairings and the Desmodromic Variable Timing (DVT) motor using hydraulically actuated adjusters to vary timing through 90° of camshaft rotation. The new motor has a claimed 160 hp (120 kW) and 100.3 lb/ft (149.3 kg/m) torque and 8% better fuel mileage as well as a longer maintenance schedule (18,600 miles for valve adjustments)[14]. There is a new 5-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) measuring pitch, roll, and yaw to enhance ABS (cornering ABS), DTC and Skyhook. It also enables Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and cornering lights that activate at over 20 mph (32 km/h) and 7° lean angle. Switchgear is backlit. Electronic cruise control is now standard on both base and S models. The display has been redesigned the S model now has a full-color TFT display. Bluetooth is incorporated into the dash.

% to BARF if sold on Barf.

Great bike, I want a shorter bike. So next is a 2020 BMW S1000XR with factory low suspension.

Cool Bill.

I am waiting to see what up in 2021. The V4 has my interest. KTM does too.

A comment on the bike for potential buyers.
It is a solid do it everything bike.
Touring mode:
Softens the suspension and help glide over our screwed up freeways.
Cruise control....bags...Heated grips... etc. Awesome for sports touring or just touring.

Sports mode.
You can hang with the best spr0tbiles except when it is really fast sweepers or straights. (Depends on the rider of course but I do OK)

Enduro mode.
Makes bumpy ass roads like Alpine and the backside of Hamilton a blast.

Urban mode. No clue.

I ride mine like a pudgy motard.

I think you are right Bill...

Just a blip in time until you do sell it and get a new bike.
A great deal for someone. Probably about trade in value.
Maybe even lower.
