Yesterday afternoon I took the GB out for a ride in it's native habitat: scenic twisty local roads. For me, the bike's ergonomics and handling feel just right to the point that swooping through twisties feels like dancing with the perfect partner. Through endless curves there are no surprises, the bike responds exactly as I expect and lets me know it's eager to be pushed even harder. I resist because of the deer, wild turkeys and distracted drivers sharing the roads. No problem, the scenery and sensations keep me smiling inside my helmet.
Heading downhill from home....
Twisty road goodness....
Roadside oak trees are dressed in fresh springtime leaves....
Hillsides are fast drying up heading into the dry season....
Heading home, my face was sore from so much smiling...
