So it seems like everyone is getting the surgery. I don't remember this being such a common thing like 5 years back. Is the surgery new? Is it just the faster new bikes making more physical demands than a few years ago? Is it Tito Rabat?
 
Jackass said before covid they had more test days to get in riding condition. That or they're just your typical millennial pussies.
 
MotoGP racers have been having for a lot longer than 5 years. Hayden had it in 09 for example.
 
I know it's happened I the past but in the past month we have:
Jack miller, fab quat surgery done, alix espargaro surgery scheduled, and now alix Marquez is looking into getting it.

Just seems like it's getting more frequent

Fabio isn't the first rider to get it twice on the same arm. Dani and Petrux come to mind. But im not 100% certain.

Dani had all of the fascia removed from his forearm, if I remember correctly. it was some experimental procedure back then.
