Episode 1 -- Webb, Tomac, Roczen

Over the last three seasons, Cooper Webb, Ken Roczen, and Eli Tomac have won 84 percent of the races in Monster Energy AMA Supercross. Will they continue to snag the majority of the races and also keep the title in a private duel between them? Will Webb's new bike and riding coach be a step forward or backward? What about Tomac on his new Monster Energy/Star Yamaha Racing ride? It's all on the table in episode one of our five-part series.

I've always wondered why so many riders come up through the Kawasaki system to win championships, then go somewhere else.

Mad

AC and Sexton might disrupt the party for the big three and I bet CJ's Fav Frenchman will have a say. Coming off the domination of the outdoors he should be in a good spot. The other Frenchman is only racing SX this year... at least contracted to do so. Musquin has his moments. Hell 32 ain't that old. Hey Reedy! :wave

BAM BAM should win A-1 huh??

Looking foward to see Stewart on the Rockstar Husky for sure as well as Plessinger on the KTM. Can Osbourne bounce back...?

The class has a lot of vets and the young ones might be leading the pack this year.

Team Honda HRC introduced their 2022 lineup of Ken Roczen, Chase Sexton, Jett Lawrence, and Hunter Lawrence yesterday at Blackmore Ranch in Murietta, California. There was lot of fun to be had with the team playing around on a small motocross track and flat track before sitting down and talking with us about expectations for 2022. Hear from all four riders one what they look forward to heading into the new year.

2022 Monster Energy Supercross Preview: Episode 2

Ferrandis, Sexton, Cianciarulo, Plessinger

A lot of hype around all of these guys. Dylan Ferrandis just waxed everyone, straight up, in the 2021 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Chase Sexton might have the most heralded riding style and form in the sport, Adam Cianciarulo is mega popular and mega fast, and Aaron Plessinger is on the rise AND just switched to the Red Bull KTM team.

This is all very exciting! As we asked about in show 1, are we reaching a point of the changing of the guard? This is your second episode for our Monster Energy/Racer X Previews of the 2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.

Thanks John.

Good show.

2022 Monster Energy Supercross Preview: Episode 3

Musquin, Barcia, Stewart, Anderson, Wilson.

For Marvin Musquin, Justin Barcia, Malcolm Stewart, Jason Anderson, and Dean Wilson, they each have reasons to believe they can win races and battle up front for the 2022 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. Whether it's changing programs like Stewart to Rockstar Energy Husqvarna and Jason Anderson to Monster Energy Kawasaki, or staying in a familiar environment and building off of last season like Barcia, each rider is aiming to make marked improvements in 2022. Can Barcia win the opener again? Can Musquin find the top step in what might be his final year? Can Stewart break through under the tutelage of Aldon Baker? So many questions and we have some answers.

Should be a great season! In theory, we probably have 5 or more guys that can realistically challenge for the 450 title.

Can Bam Bam win A1 a third time? He, the Gas Gas, and the whole Troy Lee Designs crew rock. I predict I'll be buying more Merica TLD jerseys in 2022 :laughing :thumbup

Be tough to bet against blue in any of classes. Ferrandis and a possibly reinvigorated Tomac will be up front. The 250 class will be fireworks!

Lots of great storylines, rivalries, and battles to follow this season.

AND I hope to actually make it to the Oakland Round this year as it won't conflict with Baja in 2022. I've assigned Barf's favorite Russian to try and find a hookup for tickets!

Watch out what that guy finds for "hookups".....: )

:laughing :thumbup so true....

Supercross TODAY! Live qualifying at 1pm PST. Night show at 7pm PST. All on PeacockTV.

Can Bam Bam do win A1 four times? I'd cheer for it. AC is injured, but racing. Shoulder again. Potentially/most likely Musquin's last series. Big name riders changing teams.... Tomac on Yamaha, Anderson Kawasaki, Plessinger KTM, and Mookie Husqvarna.

I'm going to call Ferrandis and Sexton battling for podiums, if not out right wins this season. While Webb, Roczen, Tomac are the favorites for wins.... I think these two will push up there and potentially be battling for podiums too. Heck, on a good day, Plessinger, Mookie, Bam Bam and Musquin can too. Brayton? Anderson..... who knows who shows up. No matter how you slice it, there are 10 plus guys who could potentially be on the podium.

The real fireworks will be in the 250 East with Jett, Forkner, Martin, Hampshire, McAdoo and hopefully Cooper back from injury (and more... East is way stacked this year.) Fast guys and big personalities.

In the meantime, I'm going to call the 250 West as a battle between teammates Craig and Nichols.... perhaps Mosiman if he finds another gear and consistency or if Hunter Lawrence channels his little brother. :dunno Big X factor will be Vince Friese racing 250 West. Can he insert himself into a podium or even title contender on the smaller bikes?

Only thing I know for certain, the Smart Top Honda is now challenging the Gas Gas for best looking bike. :teeth

Stoked for racing again!

NOTE: It is also on DirecTV channel 355 at 7pm.
That's CNBCHD.

Peacock IS worth it (only $4.99/month) if you enjoy the qualifiers and pre-race coverage.
(that's {currently} about the cost of a gallon of regular gas!)

The only suprise is Plessinger being so far down the list.

The top 4 as expected. The top dude as predicted with a side of fries.

Good stuff. :thumbup

250 combined qualifying results. Looks like Hunter might have improved.... Not surprised by Christians results. I expect him to come out swinging for what could be his last chance at a title.

Go Mosiman!! Rep the BA bro!!

:thumbup totally, go NorCal! He rides with a chip on his shoulder, fun to watch. Going to be a great main.

Yeh.... head scratcher with Plessinger. I'm wondering if there is an injury we don't know about. Been watching live qualifying and the commentary most of afternoon. Interesting, some of the riders reporting/calling the dirt more east coast like today. Shouldn't matter for Plessinger, he rides better in those conditions.

Qualifying seems to mean less with the 450's than the start. But Aaron is way off pace.

Mookie might be for real this year. :thumbup

Come on Bam Bam! :teeth

But the BIGGEST story tonight will be if NorCals own Gared Steinke, aka Stank Dog, Budman's younger doppelganger can make the main event on a KTM125....
