My daily commute through Niles Canyon is closed too

HWY 9 is open from Felton to Saratoga. It's fairly clean from Saratoga to HWY35. From 35 to Felton is it very, very dirty. I've never seen it that covered with crap. I wouldn't ride a motorcycle on it in its current condition. Wait for the cars to move the debris off the riding surface.

I know it isn't the Bay Area, but for anyone who likes to ride in the Sierras, Mosquito Ridge Road will be closed a while...

BoFax was closed when I rode by today. Based on photos a cycling friend shared there are a number of downed trees and small slides to be cleaned up. In the photos you couldn't even make out the pavement due to the amount of tree debris scattered over the road.

Yikes. There are some steep drop offs along Mosquito Ridge Road. Any idea which part that is?
