Hello Barf. well after much debating I have decided to sell my 2005 YZ 250 two stroke supermoto that I raced to a 5th place in the 2011 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. I was clocked at an indicated 98 mph in practice on a GPS unit, this bike is FAST. At the top section I was within a few seconds of the winner's time. I lost a bunch of time in the dirt because I suck!
I have a race log including jetting, gearing, suspension settings.
Here is the deal:
2005 yz 250 2T alum frame
2007 YZ suspension set uip for a 160 lbs rider by Greg Bunting at Mach One
NEW (3 hrs) stock OEM cylinder with fresh plating from millenium
FMF SST pipe and stinger
Excel 17x3.5 and 17x5 rims
Moto Master SM brake
Galfer Rotor
Jetting compensator (super trick way to keep it from getting to rich as alt. climbs)
I think the crank might have siezed last time I rode it. But I am not sure, it seems to run fine now and has good compression. But it did spit me off with a locked rear wheel when I rode it last at Sonoma.
This deal includes a brand new wiseco crank, crank bearings, gasket kit and vertex piston. I would rather buy a bike and build the motor myself than buy one with a "freshly rebuilt" motor....
Also an assortment of gearing. I do have good gears for the kart track and road race tracks as well.
comes with a spare shock and dirt wheels with good tires and brakes. also comes with a proper front fender and radiator shrouds but I remvoed them to reduce drag (seriously...)
$4k. All proceeds will go to funding my vintage race car build for Pikes Peak! (and 1% to barf)
