Aerostich Popup

This is a must go for me, this time I will be in Texas. First one I went to in San Francisco and it cost me $600 for a custom Darian jacket. The last one in Pleasanton cost me $1400 for a new custom R-3. Both worth every penny.

hmmmm...i love the almost-new one i picked up for $900 but it's a bit small for me...

For those of you that have gone to the pop-up do they run specials of any sort? Or are you pretty much paying retail? I'm in the market for a new commuter suit.

they often will have some suits cash and carry, as opposed to the usual wait for your suit to be made by custom order.
my current R3 - in traffic cone orange - was off the rack., fit is great

How was does the R-3 vent? That's my only hesitation, even though it's unlined I commute year-round and living in the Central Valley so even with my mesh suit I use during the summer months I'm melting.

the special is that aerostitch representatives measure you not a random tailor or your pet dog or your mom or whatever entity you find that might not be doing it right

Large vent on the back under the reflective material, zips from both sides. Vents under each armpit. Front pockets can be filled with ice, I have asked and got free ice at several gas stations/mini marts. Live in Stockton so I know heat, I did buy the light R3

I appreciate the feedback bikeama. You know the pain of living in the Central Valley.

If time allows I'll head out there to see them in-person. I need to invest in a new suit, my current two-piece is almost ten years old.
