Hey its pretty good! the "outdoor life network" is showing tour coverage EVERY day for a month. Its on about 4-6 hrs a day on channel 404 if you have comcast digital.

Lance Armstrong is doing well but not dominating and it has made for some rather exciting racing. I have been taping it for a friend who doesnt have cable and is an ardent cyclist. I must say it ait bad and worth checking out. NO i am not going to seap my leathers for lycra and spandex but this is a nice change of pace. :thumbup

did you all see the hihg side? :wow :wow :wow that guy just crashed at about 40-45 mph with lycra for gear. yikes. And Lance off roading it was bad ass too. i hope he dosent get penalized for cutting the course.

i saw that, bad crash for a solo one.

wait till lance gets into the mountains, then its all over

he he BBC they are in th alps right now. Whats making this year so interesting is the fact that Lance has been attacked by a lot of people IN the mountains. He has fended them off but it hasent been domination like we all expected. Today was the second day in the alps and it was very good racing. Check it out if you can :cool

DOh.. I don't get OLN down here, but at the cabin it is a regular channel, life sucks.. Speaking of which. The great outdoor games that are always on OLN are in Tahoe in a couple of weeks thought about going to watch the dog long jump...

I don't know how these riders do it. I mountain bike up in Stevens Creek and its a pain. I love the burn though. Great cardio and it definitely humbles me to see these riders climb amazingly steep hills for hours, day after day.

Tyler Hamilton is a rock. He broke his collar bone in the first few days of the race and he's still keeping pace with Lance.

Heck yeah! The Tour is the best thing going right now!

Running of the Bulls is on also, and PBR Bullriding!

Yes, Hamilton is one to watch. I think Armstrong is saving a bit, but I think Hamilton is also.

Yea, I love the Tour. One of my lifetime goals is to see it in person. I'm a big lance fan...have read his book twice now. He actually came to speak at Stanford. It was awesome.
I think he used to be an arrogant hothead but really grew up and matured into a very admirable athlete. Not to mention his strength and determination to come back to cycling after his sickness was remarkable. I've always turned my nose up at "odds". Meaning if there is even a single chance, who cares how big the odds are against that chance and I think Lance is living proof. He had less than a 10% chance of survival and showed everyone what BELIEF can do.

I'm also a big fan of the US postal team in general. They are a really really great team. I'm not sure how much anyone knows about stage racing, but it's alot more of a team thing than people think. The rest of the team are known as domestiques. They give up their chances of doing well to help Lance win. The block for him, help him if he goes down, ride back 20 - 30 -40 miles to the team car to get him more water and then sprint back to the peleton. It's like the pit crew in racing. They're kinda behind the scenes but are such key players. On the OLN website you can vote for the most valuable domestique.

I'm psyched to finally have digital cable. A couple years ago what happened is OLN bought exclusive rights to the Tour. Before that, NBC, ABC, etc could show stages and clips here and there. Now that OLN has all the rights, no one else can air it. And OLN is not part of a normal cable package. So I've gone way too long with not being about to watch a couple stages.

If anyone's getting together to watch a stage, pm me. I'd love to join in.

kubiks, your right. Lance was a total prick befor cancer. I have been watching him in the interviews though and he really has matured. I am glad to say i am an Armstrong fan now. :thumbup
