Third time is the charm. This is the chillest rally ever Come camp at the modoc district fairgrounds in lovely Cedarville CA. Show up or don't. Clean up after yourself. You're responsible for your own fun but there are definitely folks to help make it fun.

I have two very special guests coming from Australia who will be there this year. They're funny as hell in a different accent. :laughing

1 Center Street, Cedarville, CA.

Camping is $15-20 a night. Dry RV/trailer hookups available first come, first served. Showers are a few bucks extra.

Ride out into the fabulous Black Rock desert, ride north to Adel and Plush Oregon. Just ride. Tons of good dual sport riding to be had. Good brekkie in town at the country hearth and we're stumbling distance from the supermarket and restaurants.

See you there.

I hope I can make this one this year. Subscribed...

all that glitters ... :toothless:thumbup

this rally beats teh wonderful BARF Weaverville just by a nose,
cuz: hot springs, campfires, moto_ryder coffeeee and show-up-or-don’t, ftw ... :laughing

:gsxrgrl

But the title says end of pavement?

yez, was comparing Cedarville (this thread) to Weaverville (our other favorite BARF Rally later this year) ...

both awesome rallies, but Weaverville I have to make a
motel reservation months ahead of time or the 49er fills up (as you know) ... :ride

lots of nice pavement getting to Cedarville, only end-of-pavement if you keep heading east or north ... :gsxrgrl

don’t I recall two wheel trump taking you down some dirt roads up that way in years gone by ...? :afm199

or an I :loco ?

:toothless:party

Would be awesome to see you there this year, Cabrito!

The equivalent seemed to be 30 miles of eating your dust:(
Great on pavement breakfast cafe though. Definitely a quaint friendly town that appealed to my midwestern values.

It builds character!

Wanna head up to the hot springs after the rally? I'm taking the Aussies to Oregon for a few days.

Wait, where is this place?
What's to do there?
Hot springs to the North, East & South?
Big and small bike friendly dirt?

ok fine, be that way. make sure the aussies drink enough beer

will they be here for weaverville???

No, they won't. They will be in Weaverville but not when we are. We're leaving Cedarville, poking around in Oregon and then hitting Weaverville the following weekend.

I know how to show boys a good time. :cool

Mr. m0t0_ryder on a proper big bike,
and a different, low-snowpack (from 2018), two-day route to Cedarville:
