As I approach my older years I have toyed with the idea of passing on my ENTIRELY rebuilt CR500 plated street legal supermoto.

With a fresh engine rebuild, rejetted, powdercoated, ALL bearings rebuild to perfect what should such a treasure go for in CA?

I feel as though the right guy would take it for $4k-4500 but it is enough of a unicorn to not fully grasp the weight of such a situation.

:twofingerHow much extra could I get if I post links of it clearing entire intersections up Franklin?:twofinger

7 cool points. They are non transferable and hold no cash value

Did all that power rip up your driveway?

Can't even imagine riding a CR500 Supermoto. I've seen CR500s raced and the acceleration is nuts.

In OEM form, I wouldn't take a penny less than $5k. As it sits, I'd agree with your estimate, more on the high end depending on spares.

the e-line stator alone is worth a fortune on e-bay and adv forums

If the end result of the rebuild looks like this then $$$$$ whoa!

:nerd actually with that 21/18 setup it's considered a sportsman.

I swear I was passed in the city one day by a guy on aluminum framed, plated, supermoto CR.

There fun but watch the transmission if you run them on the street.
I would recomend a cush drive rear hub if some one where to run 17" motard wheels on this. Here is mine.

Wow. I know the person that bike was built for, but I don't think he has the money. I'll still show it to him tho.
