Get on with the fascination

World famous drummer, author and motorcycle enthusiast, who passed away in 2020, is having his 2004 R 1200 GS auctioned off. Gonna be expensive.

Barber would give it a good home, with reasonable confidence that it's not going anywhere.

Surprised he only had one.
Oh, I'm guessing its his first one. I mean, I don't know, maybe he just kept riding the older one.

He had a car collection as well (I dunno if that was sold off already or not), so its not like he didn't have space for it if he had more than one.

Respect to Mr Pert. Whomever pays absurd money for it not so much. :laughing

If his bike looks anything like his famous drum kit, its gonna be "Perty".

There used to be a rock and crystal store in Sebastopol that advertised on the radio that they had Jerry Garcia's refrigerator for sale. Kinda the same thing.

In Ghost Rider I think he referred to a 916 in his living room.
