It's winter and now is the time to get a new enthusiastic person trained up for the busier months.
The basics:
*Monkey Moto School is an independent org, non-state affiliated. We have been training riders primarily in SF since 2007.
*Lessons are private, methodical and organic. We meet our students wherever they are at learning-wise (not location). Sessions run about 2.5 hours.
*Our students are beginners, returning riders, people who have attended a CMSP course and passed or not, and also people who have not (or not yet) attended a CMSP course. Some folks just do better in a private setting. Students range in age, ethnicity, socio-economical status and learning type, and most are thirsty to learn and become confident, safe motorcyclists.
*Coaches are paid by the lesson and the pay rate starts around $70-$80 per session, depending on your experience.
*We are looking more for weekend availability as that is when we are busiest but weekdays are needed too. You don't need to commit to every weekend; you make your own hours. Deets in person.
Basic requirements:
Personality:
Thoughtful, kind, passionate about riding and sharing what you know, flexible to learn new things, reliable, honest and honorable, thinks independently but can work within a system.
Riding experience:
*Minimum 6 years.
*Feel very comfortable on a motorcycle and have a variety of experiences to draw from.
*Some track and/or off-road riding a plus.
*Having attended advanced course beyond Basic Rider Course a plus.
*Having read motorcycle books such as Twist Of The Wrist, Sport Riding Techniques, Total Control or Proficient Motorcycling a plus.
Message for details.
Thanks and happy new year!
