In the mid seventies I owned a '72 Kawasaki H2 750 triple. It was an ongoing battle to get that damn thing to stop shaking it's head and wallowing. I went to a formula 750 race at Laguna Seca, and watched Yvon DuHamel come out of turn 10 wobbling and headshaking on the H2r. Even the factory couldn't keep that godanmed thing controlled. It finally spit him off when in the lead if I remember right. That was when I gave up on ever straighting out mine, after shocke, some valving changes in the forks, bronze swing arm bushings, welded up frame, etc. All and all, after owing three triples (one H2, two H1s) I think they are and were shitty motorcycles. BAD handling, vibration, little ground clearance, and 25 mpg if you were on it. I would trade triples all day long for a KZ 650 (I did lol).
