Jaybuilt, looks like you are using an H1B motor by looks of that point ignition system. Man if you could only find an H1D motor and electrics with TCI ignition. I'm sure you know that you can swap the l and r cylinders to get the pipes tucked together. When the aircooled H1's were tried at roadracing such as Daytona they found that they had to cut the fins on the outside cylinders like the center cylinder. The long finned outer cylinder were seizing because of distortion. Just lookin at your rig brought back a host of memories re the Kwacks Wobble Goblins...Nice work Dimi, Kara show
hi LTdan i think it is an E. it came out of a 76 kh 500 but it is a all u shifter and it has the mag fired cdi .this summer i am going to build a 750 combat motor to install now and than when i want to show off .what a blast !
Whew i'm blind that latest picture I can see the pickup coils. The worst thing about the H1 was the spigot carb mounts the were a royal PIA. Did your engine have the oil pump that fed the carbs as well as the mains?
Want to try to build up a Suzuki GT750? I have a spare motor, frame with swing arm, carbs, electrics,wheels...etc. With a little port work 75-80 hp and water cooled to boot.
A piece of advice about your videos though - I would edit out the ends of those 2 videos that show you going to your house.
The internet is everywhere man and there are a lot of wacko people out there and they know exactly how to get to your house.
Shit, there's plenty of people on this site that are not right in the head and would like to have a bike like yours without spending hunderds of hours doing specialized fabrication and design.
Definitely edit the vids! I thought the exact same thing.
That's one hell of a machine. The craftsmanship and innovation are amazing. The simplicity and ease of teardown is nothing short of genius. After working on late model Mercedes-Benz pieces of shit all day, I truly appreciate simplicity! You could teach them a thing or two.
