Hey Folks,

What's up? I was turned on to this forum by a friend. I stay in Oxnard, ride a TL1000R. I'm always looking for new people to roll with.

Welcome to BARF, DeClutter!

:newbie DeC!!

Good to have you join us.

:ride with a :teeth.

Welcome, post up a ride in the group rides and you'll likely get traction, also go Stonybarf coming up which is fun even if you don't wanna ride dirt as plenty of people go there just to camp and hang out and of course, there will be rallys to attend next year.

What year TL1000R? I've been a fan ever since I was watching some bikes at a track day about 20 years ago and one went by - it sounded like a pod racer from Star Wars.

I've seen & heard them since and it didn't sound quite like that... Conditions must've been just right 🤷‍♂️

2002 Suzuki TL1000R 165 mph top-speed

Observed? Theoretical? What the magazines say?
Likely closed course testing like I do mine :p .My Duc is also now a 165 bike.
I actually think it might have more in race mode and a tail wind :teeth

I use the word "allegedly" pretty frequently when discussing my Blackbird in my younger days.

welcome to teh the Barfs.
I thought the TL1000R had some funky rotary shock that was evil.
