Very doable ADV ride thru Clear Creek/New Idria. A loop not shown in video but adds more miles
to the off road adventure ride, would include riding to the south end of Spanish Lake Rd, and on the
way back, take Union Carbide Rd (west from Spanish Lk Rd) to closed gate and right, (at closed gate)
on Wild Ass Road, (a rough technical road) back to Spanish Lake Rd. All are county roads.

 
Cool video with some fun info and satellite views showing the routes.

The Doc Wong Adventure Riding Clinic used to go through there. Good times, but watch for the mud holes.

Speaking of bike washing, I would 100% wash my bike ASAP after those mud holes.... Some corrosive shit in that 'water' FYI....
