Kangaroo Lake is a great camping getaway. No fishing but watched adult bald eagles chasing the offspring to get off their pond.

When I picked my bike up from Lucy yesterday she was remarking about a KLR that had the same number of miles on it as my Ducati. It of course looked very KLR-y, but we agreed that KLRs live a very different life than an some fancy pants italian bikes.

of course, neither of the KLRs of mine in Ms @Lucytriple ’s shop right now have an odometer that works—we’re forced to keep track of oil changes by worn-out 606s.

when I grow up I want to be a real adventure rider like Mr @Cabrito and Mr @stratslingr77 and Mr @bananachunks, who actually go out and tackle BDRs. I just like to find a view and set up my chair to watch a sunset.

Yes, I really enjoyed camping a couple nights at Kangaroo Lake. hopefully I’ll see you in your neighborhood, soon.
