Yep. Drove my first one for 20 years/220k miles. Planned on buying another new one, but found out the 2nd gen's are too small for me in every way.
I found a super clean 2014 (last year of gen 1) w/ 60k. I bought it from a dealer (which makes me sick :green)... and i probably overpaid by $2-3k... but they gave me $2k for my old one (it was hammered!!)... and it was the same color. :laughing

If anyone is wondering that I had a weird transmission question

I actually realized that this is the first car with automatic that I have owned.. And definitely longer up to 30 K miles (only manuals before that). So there

Also this automatic transmission somebody use it for 32k miles before me, so I hope that the servicing is not too late.

I've just been lurking instead of posting much the last few months. Trying to work out some life changes
 
So I got my car back

It drove a bit better after the transmission service

So I got it home. Turned it off

(40 minutes later) Then it couldn't start : |

Somebody must have drained my battery.... ?!?? WTF situation?!?

(When I picked it up it was parked out on the street...and I noticed it took a second longer to start..but I shrugged it off)

Before you blame your battery, take a voltage reading of it.

And once you get it running, take a reading at the battery while it’s idling.
 
Check for a loose cable, first.
But most likely the battery went dead while they had it. Then they jump-started it instead of charging it... don't ask me how I know. :laughing
 
When it "couldn't start" , I basically ran a wire with a Stanley Maintainer/charger for 2 minutes and that's how I got it started

So I just went to kragen's.. and asked one of them young ones .. tested with the little machine... They said "it shows BAD BATTERY" and the voltage is 12.4 V .. and the unit's a bit old

Just replace it. Yes, they probably left the door open and drained the battery... but a healthy battery wouldn't drain that fast. It happens... especially in cold weather.
 
:sad gotcha

sigh, there went my free 1 hr 30 min for a beer... ran around and charged and tested stuff instead of sitting in one place (where I had a gap inbetween things)

what a strange coincidence. but yeah "it's kind of an old battery" apparently, 2017.
