Welcome, BARF friends, to the all new, first ever 2016 ANNUAL MIDSUMMER MAGIC RALLY, Weaverville Edition

I JUST WANNA RIDE MY BIKE!!!!! :ride :ride :ride

We are headed north this Summer to enjoy the magic of the Trinity Alps. This will be BARF's first Trinity Rally (hopefully not the last!) and you guys will not regret it. You literally cannot go wrong with the riding up there. Plenty of riding opportunities; long or short, goats or sweepers, dirt a-plenty, and a pool, or the lake, or the river if you just want to relax and enjoy the beauty. Motorcycles are fun and so are rallies. Let’s get a third one going during the summer and encourage people to explore this beautiful state. This rally has the potential to be a real riding enthusiast’s event as Trinity has some of the best roads I’ve ever enjoyed.

Read through the rally info, and plan accordingly. For those that are new to the BARF rallies, please read through the below information and/or ask anyone in the Rally thread when we release it for more info, riding groups, tips, etc...

See y'all on the road!

Dates & Lodging Butch posted on May 22 that only two rooms are left. For the love of dog, reserve yourself a room!

Dates: July 22-24
Destination: Weaverville, CA
Estimated 3-Day Mileage: +/- 1,000 miles - It's about 400 miles just to Weaverville.
Bay Area Starting Point and Time: To be announced

All makes welcomed.

Please note that this is not an organized or guided group-riding event. There are no officially designated leads or sweeps. This is a rally with predetermined routes, common points-of-interest and destination for the participants. The official daily starting point and time are provided to allow the participants the greatest opportunity to enjoy the company of other BARFers along the way for the duration of the rally. Participants are free to band into groups of their own choosing, and at their own risk.

1, 2, 3... Easy sign Up by....:

Step 1. Make your room reservations for 7/22/16 -7/24/16. You must let the nice lady or gentleman who answers know you are coming for the BARF rally, or no room for you.

49'er Gold Country Inn
880 Main St, Weaverville, CA 96093
(530) 623-4937
Rates from $60 + tax for one queen bed to about $75 plus tax for two queens. There is a whirlpool suite as well. I've stayed here. It's clean and comfy.

Please keep in mind that Sunday will be a big day for the staff at this hotel as there will be a mass exodus of BARFers and a lot of rooms to clean. Please be considerate so that we are welcomed back for future rallies.

Alternates: No special arrangements made with these guys. They're a five minute walk away.

Motel Trinity
1270 Main Street, Weaverville, CA 96093
(530) 623-2129

Step 2. Please post up AND PM me once you have made your lodging reservations. This way I do not miss you. We will set up the eventzilla registration AFTER PASO.

Step 3. After your registration, you will receive a confirmation containing instructions to access the Rally Forum. BLINK AND MISS THE PASSWORD, no soup for you.
RALLY FORUM Password is located in the eventzilla registration you will receive AFTER PASO.

If you can only manage a hall pass for two days, no problem – book a room for Saturday, and ride out to Weaverville. On Sunday, enjoy some company for riding some of my favorite roads in California. Come and meet your fellow BARFers and BARFettes. Come for the fun and company.

Do it. Sign up, you will have a blast*
*BARF does not guarantee a blast. Blast is responsibility of attendees.

Bronze! I'm 90% in. Just need to make sure we don't have alternate plans for that weekend.

Chinese pot metal!

This overlaps a girls weekend my wife is going on, but it also ends the day before a track day I have to shoot at t-hill.

Uh, YA! I have my own accommodations , but I am IN!!!

Yes. There is a campground on East Weaver Creek about three miles from the hotel. It's where I stayed while scouting the area

Booked at the 49er Inn. That might of been the least amount of information I've ever had to give or been given about a motel reservation, lol.

I just booked, as well. No confirmation number, but at least he has my name and credit card info. :laughing

Us north bayers have an annual run up there and we stay at the 49er. Great place with great folks. Walking distance to town and the epicenter of N. Cals best roads.
