We lost a great Saturday March 9th.
Ernie Cabral, owner of one of the oldest Moto dealerships in the Bay Area passed.

It would be great to hear about your Ernie experiences and see any photos you are willing to share.
From Facebook

Saturday evening March 9th Cycle West founder and longtime MX racer Ernie Cabral passed away. Ernie not only raced but also sponsored many racers over the years. He also promoted many motorcycle races and introduced the veterans and old timers classes to District 36 sanctioned events many years ago. He will be missed by many.

Moto man for life. :thumbup

BARF experiencing the passage of time. Again.

The whole Cabral family was/is a stable there in Petaluma. Back when their shop was on the Blvd. down to where it is now. Ernie, Margie and Ted so helpful, dependable and approachable. Ernie was an example of a generation of old dudes who only knew that honesty and hard work is the way to live your life. No matter what your reason for visiting their store, if Ernie was helping you he could instantly relate and share his knowledge and experience with you about your particular situation. Another one of the good ones gone forever. Thanks for the decades of guidance Ernie. :rip

Thanks.. That was a good story. :thumbup

Thank you for that link. I remember Ernie telling me nothing gets and keeps you in shape like a dirt bike.
