S H E E T I R O N - DUAL SPORT - UPDATE - APRIL 1ST., 2025
HELLO B.A.R.F. DUAL SPORT / ADV RIDERS;
SHEETIRON 300 DUAL SPORT by the 118-year-old OAKLAND M/C CLUB, is coming up, May 17th / 18th. IT TOOK SLIGHTLY LONGER THAN LAST YEAR, BUT IN 9 HOURS, OUR "REGISTER NOW" BUTTON, BECAME A "WAITING LIST SIGNUP" BUTTON. Thank You, riders for getting on O.M.C.'s web site last night and through the morning to register. Those of you that ended up on the Waiting List, as we learn of no-shows or cancellations, we will be reaching out to you on a first come first serve basis. This can mean a few weeks to as little as a week before the event, so hopefully you can be ready to ride.
FOR THOSE OF YOU UNAWARE, this is O.M.C.'s 30th annual SHEETIRON D/S Ride. We have attracted riders from all around the world for this ride, as we travel through some of No. CA's most beautiful geography and riders just want to experience the area. Not a race, it's a ride. Hard splits, easy splits, road splits from Stonyford Rodeo Grounds - where you can bike, truck / trailer or RV camp - all the way to Ft. Bragg, over and around some very scenic and sometimes challenging terrain. Ft. Bragg, you can either camp or hotel it, and Sunday, you head back an entirely different route. You should have a reliable, licensed dual sport or ADV m/c and you should be a relatively capable off-road rider. You don't need to be an "expert" per se' but you don't want to be a brand-new novice either.
