Any of you kids have any comments?

In for either date. Prefer the Sept dates.

First weekend in October is a rally date.

Check the dates!

Surgery this Friday, they tell me I’m in for a 4 to 15 month recovery, I’m going to give it a solid four days! Anyway, I don’t think I’ll be ready for this one. see you next spring!

Even though we’ve never met, I feel that shared bond of going through surgery and fighting your way back.
Recovery can be long, but you’re tougher than the timeline.
Wishing you comfort, patience, and a smooth road back.
Spring will be here before you know it.

Wish you well Lucy.

Hope all goes smooth and the rehab leaves you in a good spot!

Sept date works best, but might be a little warm still. Moab usually beckons me in October.

Good luck with surgery, & hopefully a full recovery! 🤞🙂

Catfish ...

Butch, I can make what ever date works for the group, work for me. I'm easy like that...... :teeth

It will be peak fire season, so perhaps we should keep the bonfire expectations lower for this fall and save the double top secret stage #%* fire for next spring when the humidity is higher and temperature lower. :gsxrgrl:frankie

While September can be warm, the water always beckons after morning rides. :flag

We better not conflict with that!
We'll go with September 24 weekend.
Who is in?
I am going to plan on making it.
Had a great time last year.
Super great people at this event.
Looking forward to this one.

On our calendar!
🤞 this will motivate my son to dig in and rebuild the free roach of a KX100 i found for him, alas, only time will tell...

I know either of us would be motivated as heck as kids to rebuild a free MX bike! Hopefully he gets the bug to get after it. (y)

Hello
I am a newbie here on the site, and I love Stonyford :) - my picture with the snow is from Stonyford LOL.
Above is an entrance code ? I am a bit at a loss..... I am used to going to Davis Flats or just staging out of Wolf Creek Visitor information center for day rides, but no entrance code is required?
Where is it that you camp at Stonyford?
Does everyone show up on Friday and leave on Sunday?
How many people go?
Is this a family trip with the kids too?
I assume trailers & RV's too ?
Do I need to pay someone for the reservation?
Thanks please let me know any other info about the trip/ride

Here is a picture from Nov 2009, the top of Goat Mountain at Stonyford,,, yes 17 years ago..... LOL ..

It's the gate code for the Grey Pine Group Campground, in case you are the first one to arrive. That is where we camp. You have maybe driven right past it a bunch of times on the way to Davis Flat and never even noticed it was there. https://maps.app.goo.gl/uTirGzAV4itGENVs9
Butch books the group site Thursday - Sunday; people come and go all days as they please.
Attendance varies by event, figure around 20 people on average maybe?
There normally aren't any children there. I think that's mainly because people are there to ride and what do you do with your kids while you are out riding? But that's not to say they are disallowed. The campfire may be PG-13 after dark.
Yes, plenty of room for trailers and RVs in the group site.
PayPal Butch as stated in the original post. It covers the group site reservation and he donates the excess to BARF, CORVA, or the like.
There isn't much more to know. The only part officially organized is booking the camp site; there is no other agenda. Come and go whenever. Camp in a tent or RV. Do what you like; ride, swim in the river, hangout at all day at camp, go to bed early or stay up late at the campfire.
