2020 Triumph Street Triple Snapped Bolt Help

ain't he in Richmond in the jacuzzi center?
Isn’t Danville closer to Richmond than SF? Serious question. I get my East Bay cities all disboobled

Well, Danville, is it? Call Lawrence at LG Moto. Any shop should be able to get that out. I’d invite to mine, but I’m busy this week and he’s way closer.
I'll give him a call tomorrow. I rode it today and it didn't fall apart but I'd like to get it sorted before August 26th. If he cannot do it, I don't mind taking it into the city, if you have availability.

I got it out. LG Moto wouldn't touch it. I rode the bike 200 miles yesterday and pulling into my neighbor one of the bolts backed out and prevented me from turning right and I almost crashed, thank god it happened in my neighborhood. With the mindset of "f it, you almost totaled it yesterday" I disassembled the entire area, tried heat, tried grinding on flat sides for grip, tapping with hammer, nothing worked. I finally grabbed a 5mm socket and hammered that on, put some PB blaster on the front and back sides, and sloooowly put pressure on the bolt, and the MF came out. Thank you all for your suggestions.

Way to go. Sounds like everything I would’ve done anyway:laughing

Incredible! I had a 2015 Triumph Street Triple and this EXACT same thing happened to me! I was riding to work last year, and one of those bolts backed out and it locked the forks! That was such a dangerous situation and I am lucky that I was able to save it and not crash before I could stop.

I was so pissed off at this stupid design by Triumph that I ended up selling the bike after that. I drilled those bolts and put safety wire through them before selling so it couldn't happen to the next owner. I've owned many bikes in my lifetime, and never have I seen a design where there are bolts that are directly in-line with the forks like that. Such an incredibly stupid design and I'm still salty about it.

Nice job, man.

I had a snapped bolt that was giving me grief for while, was super satisfying to finally get it taken care of.
