Cheap Tire Mounting

Agree with Kestrel. Why pay someone to do something so simple? Last time I checked, CG was $40 per wheel to mount and balance unless you bought it from them.

Because, I've busted hundreds of tires by hand, and i don't like having bloody knuckles any more. I don't do it by hand any more.

If you do it correctly, it's not a frustrating process at all. Worst part is you'll get your pants a little dirty pushing on the tire with your knees.

That's true. I've done so many of them, that I have no problems doing it at all. But no matter what, I'll still scuff my knuckles on a sprocket, ruin a pair of pants, or just plain get filthy. So I don't do it anyourself more.

I just bought a Cycle Hill / No-Mar tire changer and got it last night, today I fabricated an adjustable hitch mount for it so I don't have to bolt it to the floor, it can be used on any truck or car with a 2" receiver hitch, it's a nice machine (manual) $295 to my door, since I only get 2000-2500 out of my tires this thing will pay for itself in no time

I don't look for "cheap"... I look for right.

Skilled workers should be paid.

I have all the equipment at home, if I need to do something...
But ... More than happy to get the work done, by the shop that is selling the new tires.
