First trackday + knee down + crash!!

brave man... in the middle of the track... i would ran to the closest off track point. you're lucky connie's good and didn't target fixate on you. just sayin...

sorry you crashed but glad to hear you're ok.

Looked like you were weighing the front end(making it work harder than need be) also keep your fingers off the brakes !!!!! For beginner track riders "KEEP THE FINGERS OFF THE BRAKES" your already excited about being on the track and going around corners , no need in adding more confusion

K good thing your okay

Not the first time I've come around a corner and found a bike parked in my line...

Luckily, I don't seem to have much of an issue with target fixation! :laughing

I dont think that would off been the cause for him to crash, ideally your supposed to be really light on the handle bars, to the point you could let go. Once you set your line and lean angle there is no need to "hold" the bars. Unless there is something wrong with your bike, suspension or tires that prevents the bike from holding its line in a corner.

But I am still a newbie for life, this is just my own obseveration from my own experience.

Im not saying to apply the death grip on the bars.. just dont try to stop a 400lbs bike going 50-100 miles an with your limbs if possible. I know it maybe just human reaction. but the times I crashed It felt as if I had a split second to tuck my arms in (in slow motion of course).

Yeah really.. when I crashed I could not walk right away, I basically crawled off the track.. its scary seeing bikes 90-100 miles an hour comming at you.

i hear ya. i suppose i shoulda prefaced that with if you're able to, which it looks like from that photo, the op was able to... Run, crawl, slither... whatever you have to do to get out of the impact zone.

I like how you have it in your avatar as you flying off your bike.. surreal! :thumbup

I would run higher pressures if I were you :cool

nice picture sequence, glad you made it out of your first track crash unhurt

Damn! Nice set of crash photos! Almost looks like it was planned. ;o)
