"Generic" Engine Bearings

Both the RC30 and RC45 share the same 62x50x25 needled bearing that
supports the rear axle... p/n 91062-MR7-003 but when I installed my
new bearing into the cassette it would not travel down far enough to
clear the retaining clip... so I removed the bearing and according to
my micrometer it was indeed the right size... however the edge on the
seal side was more square than rounded... I chucked it up in the Lathe
and employed my Docto air driven sander and ground the edge as round
as the one it replaced... with this mod the bearing traveled far
enough to clear the retaining clip...

Nice work. I’m sure you cleaned out every last bit of grinding material before using the part.
 
I prefer to use the OEM equipment. That way every detail is covered and I don’t have to to worry about things like radii, materials, material treatments, etc.
