yea i dont know about the neutral rev like that.

allthough it does sound badass minus the sirens....

i mean when you have the money and insurance to buy a new whatever why not rev the hell out of it, i doubt THAT driver actually drives the thing.

like old people in ferraris

Sorry man, I had my pie on the pipes and was trying to warm it up.

eh, the droolers need to get out more, it's just a bike.

cost means nothing to me, the way its ridden is what is impressive....or not.

The BIKE is called a "DESMOSEDICI" you fucktards. :twofinger

Ducati has had "desmodromic" valves since '56. My Monster is a "DESMO".

I don't know anybody that calls Ducatis "desmos" except for the D16. I've never heard someone look at a 1098 and say "nice desmo"

But that's just me. :dunno

Mortifer- what's your beef with Ducatis?

Your lie about the oil on 84 last year and your complaint about a D16 revving are very telling. :thumbdown

Why so much hate for the Ducati that you can't own?

I'm confused why you think I'd like to own a desmo, you don't know SHIT about me, don't assume things.:|
I have no interest in owning any ducati, but that doesn't mean I don't think they are amazing and beautiful machines.
I was not casting hate on the bike, or ducati, I was saying the guy reving his ducati was annoying me and most of Alices.

I heard the oil thing from a reliable source and still believe it to be a bike accident, I wasn't there when it hit the ground, where you? if not, then we're both going by hearsay, how dare you call me a liar.

more on the oil from last year.

"Desmo" or Desmodromic is the term for the valve actuation. Google it.

Get back to me when you've been riding 38 years.

desmo seems more associated with desmosedici than desmodromic, at least since the D16 came along. although it hardly matters.

would like to think i wouldn't rev a D16 just for the attention, but fuck me, i'd love to have one - even if it meant finding out how big of a dick i was. :laughing

History and motorcyle intelligence matter to me.

If I had a desmo I would be doing a shit load of trackdays so I can mash it around the track so everyone can hear my sweet exhaust note in the C class:laughing

This reminds me of when I was teaching at one of the auto racing schools up at THill. One of the students had a Ferrari F430, when they first came out. At my request he did an entire lap in 1st gear only so I could hear the sweet Tubi exhaust notes as the revs climbed :laughing

I can only think of a handful of exhaust notes that can bring chills down my spine like a Ferrari V8 at full song :love

Blah blah blah. Homie you are the one that quoted us a price in your first post. So I guess all those moto gp teams are just wasting their money? Price means nothing? That's a tad naive.
