"Introducing the all new KLX300 dual sport"....so why make an "all new" bike look just like the same one that's been around since the mid-90's? :laughing

If that's an Oberdan Bezzi drawing, and it is, whatever Kawi is gonna trot out tomorrow, I doubt it will look anything like that... I'm gonna guess more like a larger X300, a sharper Versys. :dunno

Here are some more of his renderings/fan fiction: https://oberdanbezzi.artstation.com/

looks like you basically nailed it ... :laughing:thumbup

oh well, got to live the Mr Bezzi fantasy for a couple days ... :ride

lol’d @ “fan fiction ...” :gsxrgrl:party

Yea, I woke up a little disappointed. But then again, maybe we shouldn't be?

People love/hate the old school dual sport bikes. They are cheap, and we want cheap... but they don't have the latest and greatest suspension, rider aids, light weight, etc. But there's something about the simplicity and availability to the every-man and woman that makes them great.

Kwacker releases this dual sport, and it ticks a lot of those boxes... and it's cheap! $5500 new or whatever. (And they also released a supermoto version of it, too!) Isn't the rapidly inflating cost of bikes one of the larger problems with getting youth into riding?

So yea - it's not the magic unicorn we all wanted, but it sure is accessible, and will probably take a lot of people on some very fun adventures. In a market where this type of bike seems to be disappearing, perhaps we should be thankful.
