2019 - 2026 Wednesday Night Drags Sonoma

Derp I was just about ready to load up Subway sandwich all ready to go and I realize its still too early to load up and so I sit down on the couch and check facebook out then I see they cancelled WND =( guess I'd better go work then

First I've seen WND cancelled besides rain, smoke, or deadly virus.

Drag racing tonight!
 
Am finally planning to go tonight for the practice runs bringing a new riding friend. Is tech open from 4-7pm or do they close it at a certain time? We plan to reach the gates by 4pm.

If you get there at 4pm that's too late, you will miss some of the practice runs waiting for tech. Racing starts at 4pm. Get there around 2:30-3pm to be sure you are all teched and ready to go by 4. There will be a line.
 
Had a lot of fun last night, great meeting you Joe and Merlin and appreciate all the helpful advice. Hope you guys were able to finish the races given the long delay on the track.

My RT times were .445 and .235 with sub 15 ETs. I did not imagine that many cars coming out for the drags - amazing!

Glad you came out and bringing your friends also! Sorry for the LONG delays because of car oil downs on the track. You picked a good time to leave. We did not get to make anymore runs after you left. Another car crash and another oil down ended the night. I hope you guys come back and have a better experience the next time. Scroll through and you will find video's of your runs.

I got one run against Sean and I lost ran .60 off my dial. Then they closed the track because another car pissed oil all over the track and we would hit curfew by them the time they cleaned it up :(

According to Facebook that night didn't count at all, no points, like it never happened :(
