I'll try not to eat that one (at $14! + tax 'n tip) again! It gave me a bad and uppity tummy :( How do you people eat them dogs now I would not know.

Made a tasty smoothie for lunch. Mango, pineapple, strawberries, blended with orange juice.
 
I'm about to make breakfast for lunch here. Just wrapped up a phone screen and I actually have an interview scheduled for once, so that's nice. Even if it doesn't go anywhere it's nice to know someone looked at my resume and decided it was worth a look.

Breakfast foods at non-breakfast time is wonderful.

During finals week, the cafeteria at my college would serve breakfast all day since a majority of students were on a no-sleep or upside down sleep schedule studying for exams and writing papers. The small cafe in the library was open 24 hours during finals week too and kept breakfast sandwiches, bagels, fresh fruit, etc all day.

Having waffles and bacon at 2AM took the edge off a bit from the stress of finals week. :x

Steak and eggs is a breakfast meal and my go-to option when I'm in Vegas. But scarfing down a steak on the Vegas strip while quite inebriated is slightly different than having a sausage muffin stone cold sober while writing a 20 page paper.
 
It's my little sister's birthday today. Yay. Just after mom's birthday on Tuesday. Back when the 3 of us lived local, we just made it a 3 day celebration. I thoroughly enjoyed it but my bank account did not.

you guys, what is this "Pinole Vista Crossing" thing? Would you say the Nordstrom Rack there is worthy of a visit 1?!?!?

Know what else takes the edge off? Preparing ahead of time so you don't have to cram until 2am the night before finals KURO

College kids are not exactly known for always making the best game plans. I was no exception.
 
Pinole Vista is sort of the replacement for Hilltop Mall but you really can't walk between stores like in a mall. There are the usual suspects/big box stores and some chain restaurants. It's close to Richmond so has a bit of a ghetto vibe.
In the 80s and 90s folk would take their dirt bikes out to that locale and ride around the trails but it's all built up now.
