Got a friendly talk from one of the shop stewards today about being 'too helpful' as I'm not really supposed to be touching any packages working a non-union role so I'll have to stifle my urge to help a bit more. 15 minutes later I was talking to a manager who told me he thought I'd be a great fit for UPS and was giving me a rundown of what sort of career opportunities are possible. Then I got an email from a job application I sent out that was not a rejection email, but a request for an initial phone call. Interesting hump day so far.

The air today is something, making my lungs a little angry. About as bad as it gets during wildfire season, funny how the news spends more time on the dangers of pm2.5 during a wildfire versus this...
 
In some randomness, I have a date tomorrow with a pretty lady. We're only a couple cities apart, which is like 10 miles, but I suggested an Italian restaurant I really like and she likes Italian food too.

We'll see how that goes.

Happens a lot in jiu jitsu. Women usually fall into 1 or 2 categories. They understand (hopefully) their training partner is not being a creep and hopefully they aren't but establishing grips on the gi, sometimes yeah your hand is going to be on their chest. Or they stick to the women's only classes. Either is fine. Everyone should be comfortable in training. It's 100% not the same but you have to accept as a dude, sometimes another dude is going to be touching your butt.

I've probably touched more boobs in training than I have in my abysmal dating life the past few years.

Our initial conversations didn't involve martial arts. It's a very important part of who I am but she drives a Scion FR-S, manual transmission, which is a rarity of anybody these days, so my interest focused that way to talking Toyota cars. So that was a conversation starter.

Other things I'm skipping over including anime.
