them lids?

by hand, actually. Just like my wine glasses with SONOMA BIG CHEEZ Store inscription on them, or, my COAL HARDWARE wine-tumbler

---

you know what I miss?? M D, to correct my (proper) usage of commas above ^ .
I'd be happy to fill in but I usually have no idea what you are saying. Besides you get pissed when I do it. Guess I'm not as cool as Kevin.

Only pre-req for the job was a drivers license, so, the bar is at my level :laughing
Hey, ya got an "M1", another box to check off so that should help too, right?!

Also, how'd that interview go regarding the machinists position? Did ya get down to nuts and bolts kinda questions? You know, lefty loosey, righty tighty kinda stuff.

To be fair, I am usually not correcting you but trying to to get clarity. And quote frankly it isn't the ESL thing. It's that you have a tendency to post in a very cryptic fashion that makes it hard for someone not inside your head to understand.

For example, you will say things like "a certain store just closed and I saw a certain someone on a certain moto."

I'm truly not trying to be an asshole. I want to engage, but it's really hard when you write like that. Like what's the secret?

Ooh I bet driving to Santa Rosa is tiring. :laughing I've done it a bunch of times to meet older friends with them bicycles

I walked and my legs are tired now. Not as many miles as Nate walks sometimes probably, mind you

Now listening to an audio book about US history questions.. got boring but gotta do it.
Here is a good example. I had no idea what your secretive "with them bicycles" means. What is the point here? It seems like it's the point of your comment, but I don't know what it is. You could have said "road bikes" or "e bikes" or "old timey pennyfarthers". But instead you make a very pointed cryptic message that people are supposed to interpret.

I did mention that I had an M1, hopefully that ticks a box!

I was four points from a passing score on the aptitude test, so I guess I am not that apt :laughing It was primarily visual, showing either flattened cubes and asking you to choose the incorrect 3D representation from a list, or shapes and asking you to choose what those two shapes would combine to make. There were a few questions pertaining to measurements of triangles / circles, as well as a few on how gears would interact. I suspect I blew it on the mathing, and potentially didn't visualize some things correctly as it was as timed test and I wanted to get all the way through. I actually enjoyed the challenge, I'll try again if another posting comes up.

So the pizza spot I've been going to a lot since I've been here. Small mom and pop type store, not a chain. 10 bucks for a large 1 topping pizza is a good deal considering I have a tiny appetite and that's lunch/dinner for 2 days, maybe 3. I usually chat with the staff. One of the girls remembered me after just a few visits and just confirms what I was going to order. Every time they have a TV playing some weird game show that has the most odd and ridiculous games and events.

After she got to know me, she started betting me that if I can guess what the fuck is going on before my pizza is done, she'd give me a free 2 liter bottle of soda. And this is about 15-20 minutes depending on how busy it is.

Wanna know how many times I've been able to figure it out?

Once. Fucking ONCE. :laughing And that was dumb luck of taking a shot in the dark guess and not because I studied the game enough to get.

Next time I need to ask her what the game show actually is because I'd love to look it up on youtube and post some of that shit here in the PW thread.

I like Q posts and think it's fun to decipher them. :x

🎉

Like what's the secret?

that whole post of yours made me laugh. I see @ Fl XNNX03Rider has :ROFLMAO: on it too. To be honest there's actually no secret.

On this day 5 years ago, we were all dealing with the fall out of the early COVID so I directed and produced a crossover podcast Ruby Rhod of The Fifth Element and Spider-Man. Oh, and the host and guest were pretty cool too.

I was really bored between work project tasks that were thinning before they picked up again... Took me a good 12 hours of script writing, filming, and cutting scenes together to make a conversation seem as seamless as possible with free video editing software.

If you were not aware, I am extreme nerd. I am patting myself on the back because I'd never done any video editing like this before other than cutting clips together from track days but that's way different from making a conversation feel like it's in real time. I'd call it better content than random social media butt model videos regardless of how many views or likes I got. Wasn't the goal.
