You do know that the California house just passed a similar law for 3D printers and its headed to the Senate for a vote right? I mean at least CA is letting you keep your CNC devices for now........

Yes, I know.

Dunno if they're making it a felony to transfer computer files yet, though, like NY has done.

"war on manufacturing" seems a bit exaggerated. It is pretty extreme if true. I imagine there will be considerable pushback from businesses affected, while it's in committee.
